Amazing lens optics
The optics of the lens
is adapted to the classical correction of astigmatism but also presbyopia.
Therefore, the contact lenses provide effective correction of both eye defects
at the same time.
To correct astigmatism, the proven optical technology
OpticAlign® Design is used, which ensures all-day stability of
the lens in the correct axis position. 2 marks are visible on
the lens.
The first mark is classically at the 6 o'clock position.
The second mark shows the position of the axis and is visibly smaller.
Proven 3-Zone Progressive™ Design optical technology is used
to correct presbyopia. Behind this design are 3 optical zones, which are
arranged in rings from the centre of the lens towards the edge of the lens.
These optical zones ensure sharp vision at distance, intermediate and near. The
optics will ensure smooth transitions between the zones and
therefore the vision correction will be very comfortable.
Comfortable
material
The lens material contains 46% water and thanks to the
MoistureSeal™ technology, moisture is retained in the
material for up to 16 hours. The silicone component of the material in turn
ensures a high oxygen supply. The combination of these two parameters provides
the eyes with everything they need and at the same time makes the lenses very
comfortable. In addition, the silicone-hydrogel material samfilcon A has a
soft handling colour for even easier handling.
Wear
mode
Bausch + Lomb ULTRA Multifocal for Astigmatism are designed for
daily or extended wear for 1 to 7 days without removing the lens from the eye.
Extended wear must always be approved by the wearer's eye care
professional.
The replacement period is set at 30
days.
