Cosmetic coloured lenses with power
Dioptric coloured lenses
are coloured lenses that have a power and are intended to correct your vision.
Corrective lenses are typically prescribed by an ophthalmologist or an
optometrist. The prescription consists of all the specifications necessary to
make the lens. Prescriptions typically include the power specifications of each
lens (for each eye). So even when ordering dioptric coloured lenses, you will
need to know your prescribed parameters.
How to Take Care of Monthly
Colored Contact Lenses?
Monthly colored contact lenses require special
care. If you take proper care of your lenses, you can use them for the entire
month.
Let's start with the most important rule:
Never use
peroxide solutions on colored lenses as they may damage the color
effect of the lenses. When caring for colored lenses, use only universal
solutions.
When you purchase monthly lenses, you don't have to
worry about anything for the first wear. After opening the blister, the lenses
are ready to be placed on your eye. The countdown for lens care begins after the
first wear.
Once you remove the lens from your eye, place it in your palm
and apply a universal solution. Then, using the tip of your finger from the
other hand, rub the lens thoroughly for about 10 seconds. Rinse the mechanically
cleaned lens with a fresh dose of solution and then store it in a case with a
fresh dose of solution. Repeat the same process for the other lens.
Never sleep with your lenses on!
Lenses can be stored in
the case for up to 7 days; after that, the cleaning process must be repeated. In
simple terms, you must provide regular care for the lenses through mechanical
cleaning and storing them in a fresh solution. For contact lenses with a 30-day
replacement period, we also recommend regularly changing the lens
case, at least with every new bottle of solution.
Disclaimer The use of different universal solutions may vary.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the solution.
