Perfect visual acuity for astigmatics

PRECISION BALANCE 8/4 is Alcon's proven toric lens design. The lens has a mark at the 6 o'clock position and at the same time the lens is thinned at this point. This minimizes the interaction of the lens with the lower lid. The lens also has stabilization points at the 8 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions, thus keeping the lens in the correct position. This guarantees the wearer perfect visual acuity.

Excellent material

The silicone-hydrogel core of the lens contains 55% water and ensures excellent oxygenation of the cornea. The core is followed by a hydrogel layer that perfectly hydrates the eye, as the water content on the lens surface is close to 100%. The combination of materials is absolutely perfect from the user's point of view and Alcon has called it Water Gradient Technology.

Celligent technology, which is inspired by the biology of the eye, is also used in the production of the lenses. The technology uses biomimetic properties in the surface of the lens. In practice, this means that the surface of the lens acts as a barrier to microbes and impurities. At the same time, however, the lens is able to draw in water from the surrounding environment, keeping the lens pleasantly soft and lubricated at all times.

In addition, TOTAL30 for Astigmatism has a Class 1 UV filter. However, the lens only partially protects the eye, so it is always necessary to supplement eye and eye area protection with suitable sunglasses.

Proper care and wearing of the lenses

TOTAL30 contact lenses are designed to be worn daily - this means that it is not possible to sleep in the lenses. The lenses must always be removed from the eyes in the evening, mechanically cleaned and stored for regeneration. In the morning, the lenses will be ready to wear again.
The replacement period for new lenses is set at 30 days.
