How Can You Care for Your Lens Case?

The case must be kept in clean area. After every use, rinse it with fresh solution and allow it to air dry. Moist spaces are breeding grounds for bacteria, so make sure you allow the case to dry before using it again. It’s also a good idea to have extra cases on hand, especially if you take yours with you to work, the gym, etc.

Never fill the case with tap water to store your lenses. Although safe for drinking, tap water contains bacteria that can be harmful to your delicate eyes.

Why Change the Case and How Often?

It is generally advised to use a fresh, new case with every bottle of contact lens solution (approximately every three months). This is why all of our full-sized solutions are sold with a lens case included. Many users underestimate the frequency with which they should replace their case. Lens cases can easily become contaminated both inside and out, so it’s also important to clean the case regularly with solution or gentle soap and water. Always wash your hands before handling your case and lenses.
